2.1. By registering, accessing, or using the Platform, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal capacity to enter into these Terms.

3.2. New accounts require email verification and administrator approval before first sign-in. We may refuse, suspend, or revoke access at our discretion.
3.3. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your password and for all activity under your account.
4.1. MeraFolio is a self-service record-keeping and calculation tool for tracking personal and family wealth. It helps you organise holdings, transactions, loans, properties, insurance, income, and expenses, and produces calculations and reports based solely on data you enter.
4.2. MeraFolio does not provide investment, financial, tax, legal, or accounting advice, and nothing on the Platform should be construed as such.
5.1. All calculations, valuations, projections, returns, and reports are informational estimates only, generated from the data you provide. We do not warrant:

8.3. For online accounts, your data is stored privately and scoped to your account. You remain responsible for maintaining your own backups (e.g. via the export feature).
9.1. The Platform, its design, code, logo, and content (excluding your User Data) are owned by MeraFolio and protected by applicable laws. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.
9.2. You retain ownership of your User Data. You grant us a limited licence to process it solely to provide the Platform to you.

12.2. On termination, your right to use the Platform ends. We may delete your account and online User Data subject to our Privacy Policy and applicable law.
13.1. These Terms are governed by the laws of India. The courts of India shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any disputes, subject to any applicable dispute-resolution process.
14.1. We shall not be liable for any delay or failure to perform due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to internet or hosting failures, cyber-attacks, natural events, or government action.
